Job Title: Head of Learning and Development Location: Pune Reporting To: Managing Director Industry: Agriculture /Pesticides Job Summary: The Head of Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning strategies that align with business objectives. This role involves enhancing employee skills, driving a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring talent development initiatives support organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a robust L&D strategy aligned with the companys goals and business needs. Assess organizational learning needs and create customized training programs to enhance skills, leadership, and professional development. Design, implement, and monitor training initiatives, including leadership development, technical upskilling, compliance training, and soft skills enhancement. Lead a team of L&D professionals and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive learning effectiveness. Leverage modern learning methodologies, such as e-learning, blended learning, gamification, and AI-based training platforms. Measure the impact and ROI of learning programs through KPIs, feedback, and performance assessments. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and learning best practices. Partner with HR and business leaders to align learning strategies with talent management, succession planning, and workforce development. Stay updated with emerging trends in learning technologies and methodologies to drive innovation in training programs. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in designing and executing training programs at scale. Strong knowledge of instructional design, learning management systems (LMS), and digital learning trends. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Data-driven approach to learning measurement and program effectiveness.
