Job Description

Role & responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the caf and ensure smooth functioning. Hire, train, and onboard new staff members, including wait staff and baristas. Ensure employees are well-trained in drinks preparation and the proper use of coffee equipment. Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed (e.g., takeaway cups, coffee, milk, other ingredients). Maintain and update records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses. Introduce new menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences. Advise staff on best practices for resolving client issues and delivering excellent customer service. Ensure that all caf areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Foster and nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and enhance the caf's reputation and profitability. Monitor daily expenses and revenues, ensuring alignment with financial targets. Develop strategies to increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and position the caf as a favorite local spot. Be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Should passes good leadership skills and able to handle a team of 3 to 4 persons. Candidate Requirements: Prior experience in various roles within coffee shops or the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
