Job Description

Lead Web App Developer (React)

Location:

About the Role

Lead Web Developer

This role requires prior experience building and scaling B2C web app with significant user bases specifically apps with high download volumes and strong daily active usage (DAU).

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web apps using
React / NextJs
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams to define and implement robust solutions
Optimize app performance, manage releases, and troubleshoot issues
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices
Integrate marketing and product analytics event tracking frameworks
Mentor junior developers and contribute to overall architecture and technical decision-making

Must-Have Skills

Strong command of
Javascript and Typescript
with hands-on experience developing production
Web App
Solid experience working on both
Linux
and
macOS
Comfort with
Docker
and container-based development workflows
Proven experience developing website with
high traffic websites
Deep knowledge of
Git
, including advanced version control workflows
Strong understanding of
REST API design principles

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) and writing REST APIs
Familiarity with
event tracking tools
(e.g., Firebase Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
