As an Automation Test Engineer at M&G Global Services Private Limited, you will be an integral part of a Scrum Squad/Agile Team, collaborating with developers, BAs, and Product Owners to ensure the quality of software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a solid understanding of the existing test automation framework and enhancing it as needed - Executing FAT, Integration, and E2E test cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects using Jira - Supporting business users during Business Acceptance Testing - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and highlighting any risks/issues/challenges with possible mitigation actions - Communicating the Benefits and Savings achieved through Test Automation in terms of efforts and costs - Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency In this role, you will need the following Knowledge & Skills: - Confidence & excellent communication skills to interact with Product owners, Delivery leads, and Portfolio leads on Test activities - Ability to mentor QA engineers in automation activities and assist in resolving automation-related issues - Experience with FE Automation using Selenium-Java/Playwright with BDD Cucumber framework - Knowledge of using J-Meter for Performance Testing and API Automation for REST APIs with Postman & Rest Assured - Proficiency in Automated Database/Backend Test Automation, TDD, and BDD processes - Familiarity with Test & Defect Management tools like Jira/Zephyr/HP-ALM/ADO and SQL - Understanding of Frontend and Backend systems, with the ability to perform basic debugging and configuration - Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills Desirable skills for this role include proficiency in languages like Python and C#, BDD Frameworks like Specflow, Test Runners such as Junit, Nunit, TestNG, and experience in release management. Additionally, experience with AI tools like Microsoft Co-pilot or Chat-GPT for various test activities would be advantageous.
