Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and QA teams to create, validate, and maintain comprehensive software documentation. Responsibilities include developing installation guides, API guides, user guides, whitepapers, and training materials tailored to various user personas, such as IT, OT, end users, and partner organizations. This role also involves supporting the creation and maintenance of training materials like documents, slides, and videos. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and QA, to gather information and insights necessary for creating accurate and precise documentation. Create, update, and maintain technical documentation such as installation guides, API guides, user guides, and whitepapers. Develop documentation that caters to a diverse audience, including IT professionals, OT specialists, end users, and partner organizations. Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and consistent with established standards and guidelines. Validate technical content with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, including documents, presentation slides, and educational videos. Utilize feedback from users and other stakeholders to improve documentation continually. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documentation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the software industry, with a portfolio of previous work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity. Ability to write for various user personas, adapting style and complexity according to the audiences needs. Basic understanding of software development processes, APIs and technical concepts. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience in creating multimedia content, such as video tutorials and presentations, is a plus. Familiarity with technical writing tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar.
