DATA ENGINEER A data engineers job is to build and maintain systems that collect, manage, and convert data into usable business information. Data engineers work with large datasets, databases, and software to ensure data flows smoothly and securely. Their responsibilities include: Building and maintaining data management systems : Data engineers build and maintain data pipelines, databases, warehouses, and lakes. Developing algorithms : Data engineers develop algorithms to transform data into actionable information. Ensuring compliance : Data engineers ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Collaborating with stakeholders : Data engineers collaborate with engineers, business/systems analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements. Documenting technical designs : Data engineers document technical designs, workflows, and best practices. Providing technical guidance : Data engineers provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. Deploying machine learning models : Data engineers put machine learning models into production.
