Lead - Sourcing

Role Overview: As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, your main objective is to drive Strategic Sourcing Excellence and deliver sustainable value to the company. You will be responsible for developing strategic planning, annual planning, and cost reduction programs at Sourcing in alignment with the company's various business verticals. Additionally, you will define and develop sourcing strategies for the product portfolio categories, manage vendor relationships, oversee people management activities such as competency building and succession planning, and conduct market intelligence analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Strategic Planning, Annual Planning, and Cost Reduction Programs aligned with business verticals - Define and develop sourcing strategy for product portfolio categories - Manage vendor relationships and oversee competency building, succession planning, training interventions, and recognition and rewards programs - Conduct market intelligence analysis including supply market analysis and market insights - Drive digitization and digitalization initiatives within the sourcing function - Ensure compliance management and risk management by identifying risks and developing mitigation plans - Perform cost structure analysis, benchmarking, and provide clarity on design quality standards and costs - Manage product life cycle and inventory management - Create and develop an analytics cell within the sourcing function Qualifications Required: - Education: Engineering with 14 to 17 years of experience or Engineering & Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management or Operations with 10 to 13 years of experience - Experience in production, procurement, product management, and quality with dominant experience in sourcing or direct components procurement - Knowledge of supply chain value chain, procurement best practices, processes, and technologies, demand & delivery planning process, new product development process, product/category knowledge, market intelligence, contract management, legal, statutory, and corporate governance, product cost/commercial aspects, SAP/ERP, analytics/BI, performance metrics, risk assessment, benchmarking, inventory management, technology, and innovation.,
