Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking - Authentication team, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches. You will be creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies - Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in coding in Java / Spring boot and experience with Microservices - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies - Demonstrated experience in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline Additionally, the company emphasizes a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, along with a commitment to exploring new and emerging technologies.,
