Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage

  robust, scalable, and secure

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) for various applications.

• Automate

  deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using technologies like

  Docker, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

  .
• Develop and maintain

  Python scripts

  to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize core

  AWS services

  including

  S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch

  .
• Work closely with development and operations teams to establish best practices, resolve technical issues, and improve overall system reliability and performance.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security, and implement logging and alerting solutions.
• Stay current with the latest

  AWS DevOps tools and services

  and recommend improvements to our current setup.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.

• Communicate effectively

  with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding infrastructure status, deployments, and requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years

  of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with

  containerization technologies

  including

  Docker

  and orchestration platforms like

  ECS

  and/or

  EKS

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python scripting

  for automation, system administration, and deployment tasks.
• Extensive experience with key

  AWS infrastructure technologies

  such as

  S3, RDS (database management), Lambda (serverless computing), CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code), and CloudWatch (monitoring)

  .
• Familiarity with other essential

  AWS DevOps tools and services

  .
• Excellent

  communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with

  Databricks

  environments, administration, or deployment pipelines is a

  strong plus

  .
• Familiarity with other Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with other monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).
