Job Description You will serve as the Quality Assurance Architect at insightsoftware, reporting to the QA Manager and guiding approximately 10 QA engineers in both manual and automation disciplines. Your role will focus on technical leadership and process excellence rather than people management. You will lead the team in transforming from task-oriented execution to strategic quality thinking, driving quality excellence across multiple scrum teams. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and executing testing for the Equity Management SaaS Application, as well as challenging existing processes and driving innovative approaches to quality assurance. Responsibilities - Leadership & Strategic Vision: - Drive quality assurance initiatives and elevate technical excellence - Design and implement continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies - Transform team mindset to proactive quality advocacy and strategic business thinking - Mentor and develop QA engineers, fostering critical thinking and strategic quality perspective - Establish technical standards and best practices while promoting a culture of continuous improvement - Hands-On Technical Execution: - Define test plans, test cases, and execute tests for each work item - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify appropriate testing criteria - Implement and maintain Automated Test Infrastructure and Test Suites - Design and execute non-functional testing using standard techniques - Collaboration & Process Participation: - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives - Operate in an agile development team, contributing to design, development, testing, and debugging - Review work items and propose testing solutions alongside senior engineers Qualifications - Total experience: - Minimum 10+ years of hands-on commercial software testing experience, with 5+ years focused on SaaS applications - Leadership & Experience: - 3+ years of providing technical leadership and mentorship to QA teams - Demonstrated ability to transform team culture and elevate strategic quality ownership - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Core Technical Skills: - Proficiency in manual functional and non-functional testing - Coding experience in C# and SQL - Solid experience in writing test automation frameworks - Proficiency in testing REST APIs - Experience with Selenium WebDriver - Tools & Systems: - Proficiency in JIRA, XRAY, ALM, TFS, GIT, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools Additional Information All information will be kept confidential as per EEO guidelines. insightsoftware is unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
