This role is also responsible for driving manufacturing excellence initiatives to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Plant Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of three manufacturing plants. Ensure production schedules are met and products meet quality standards. Monitor and manage plant performance metrics. Manufacturing Excellence: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. Lead projects aimed at reducing waste and improving process reliability. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the manufacturing teams. Stores Management: Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels. Implement effective inventory control systems. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Logistics Management: Manage logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordinate with logistics partners and suppliers. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor plant managers, storekeepers, and logistics staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback. Promote a safe and collaborative working environment. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality control systems. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly. Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage production, stores, and logistics budgets. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure efficient use of resources and materials. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Address any HSE concerns and implement corrective actions. Who are we looking for? Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing multiple manufacturing plants and logistics operations. Experience in the aqua feed or related industry. Skills : Strong knowledge of manufacturing excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Advanced certifications in manufacturing excellence (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt). What's in it for you?
