Lead Product Designer, Ecosystem Platform

As a Lead Product Designer at Atlassian, you will play a key role in the Ecosystem Platform team, reporting to the Design Manager. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to high-impact project work aimed at building a robust, easy-to-use, and successful developer platform. You will collaborate with other Ecosystem Platform designers and design teams to create high-quality experiences and expand Atlassian's customer base worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Be the voice of design in your team and collaborate with teams working on the extensibility of Atlassian products - Partner with product managers, engineering, and other stakeholders to define key projects - Work independently with teams across various domains to enhance customer- and developer-facing experiences - Plan and implement suitable design frameworks for strategic and project-based work - Demonstrate design quality in low-fidelity and high-fidelity design concepts, utilizing design systems and service design - Communicate design plans and progress effectively with peers, leadership, and partners - Conduct customer research and usability activities regularly - Make design decisions based on research, data, and personal experience - Contribute to the improvement of design quality in your team and other programs aimed at enhancing overall design capability **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of product design experience, particularly in designing complex or enterprise-level software - Experience working with teams developing developer experiences or design systems is highly desirable - Proficiency in end-to-end UX/product design to create impactful solutions - Strong storytelling skills to bring design direction to life - Ability to balance customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility - Proficient in facilitation and cross-functional collaboration to integrate the work of multiple teams and facilitate design discussions - Experience with design systems and identifying common components to support various customer use cases - Proficiency in measuring success using qualitative and quantitative methods Atlassian provides a range of perks and benefits to support you, your family, and your engagement with the community.
