Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer at BMC, you will play a crucial role in leading the product design efforts to create exceptional user experiences across various digital platforms. Here's how you will contribute to BMC's success: - Lead the product design to deliver outstanding user experiences on web, mobile, and other digital platforms. - Establish and uphold design standards and guidelines to maintain consistency across all products. - Promote innovative design thinking within the team to develop groundbreaking design solutions that enhance the user experience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features and requirements. - Conduct user research and testing to validate design solutions and understand user needs. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts. - Provide feedback to team members during design reviews to ensure high-quality work. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product design to improve user experience. - Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended and address design-related technical challenges. - Build strong relationships with stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design throughout the organization. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in product design, graphic design, or related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in UX/product design with a successful track record. - Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, process, and impact. - Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision. - Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design standards. - Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and human-computer interaction. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead and inspire a team. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
