Lead PHP Engineer

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing PHP applications using PHP 8.x and MVC-based frameworks such as Laminas (Zend), Laravel, or Symfony. Your main responsibilities will include: - Working on a complex legacy codebase consisting of 50+ modules, ensuring code quality and maintainability. - Writing comprehensive unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the code. - Making informed programming decisions to improve code quality and system performance. - Collaborating effectively with clients and team members across US, Europe, and Australia, managing both verbal and written communications. - Developing and maintaining front-end components using Angular (version 8 or higher). Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of hands-on experience with PHP, updated to version 8. - Strong expertise in MVC frameworks, especially Laminas (Zend), Laravel, or Symfony. - Proven experience working with complex legacy systems, ideally ERP software. - Solid understanding of code quality principles and best programming practices. - Experience writing unit tests. - Excellent English communication skills - both verbal and written. - Comfortable working directly with clients and teams from US, Europe, and Australia. - At least 2 years of experience with Angular (v8+).
