Job Description

Plan, organize & co-ordinate the team of Coating Inspectors and Subcontractors.
Planning and controlling Coating activities
Prepare and review QA/QC Procedure & ITP for the project.
Ensure that all inspection & test sequences at various stages of the work execution are carried as per the approved ITP.
Execute/Monitor, Painting/Coating procedures Qualification
Attend project progress review meetings and contribute towards QA/QC painting/coating/Insulation related problem solving and dealing with queries.
Inspect blasting and painting equipment and tools, inspect test equipment and verify the validity of calibration
Undertake test Qualifications for Spray painters, brush painters & Blasters
Liaise with the client representatives, Project Manager & the QA/QC manager for all Coating / Insulation related activities.
Initiate observations, Surveillance reports and NCRs in case of any non-conformity or deviation, analyze causes of non-conformities, identify trends and coordinate implementation of the relevant corrective / preventive action
Carrying out 100% visual inspection for any coating failures and ensuring it is rectified before the materials leave the painting yard.
Supervise and Preparation of final documentation as per project specification and Inspection test plan.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
