Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Assist in on-site assessments of network requirements and implementation support. Conduct basic evaluations of existing infrastructure to help identify client needs. Network Implementation Configuration: Support the deployment of network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Assist in configuring and optimizing: Routers: Basic routing configurations and monitoring. Switches: VLAN setup and switch management. Firewalls: Basic firewall rule implementation. Wireless Access Points: Assisting in setup and troubleshooting. Load Balancers: Supporting configuration and monitoring. Testing Troubleshooting: Conduct basic testing to validate network performance and functionality. Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues under supervision. Documentation: Maintain records of network configurations and updates. Assist in preparing reports on network health and performance. Compliance Standards: Ensure implementations follow industry standards, security protocols, and best practices. Project Coordination: Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure timely project execution. Assist in monitoring project progress and documenting key updates. Requirements Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is required; additional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in network engineering. Experience in configuring and managing various network components and technologies. Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and security practices.
