Lead Java Developer

As a Lead Java Developer at Infopark, Kochi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs for healthcare applications. Your role is crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop backend systems using Java, preferably Java 8+. - Create scalable APIs that seamlessly integrate with frontend and third-party systems. - Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Maintain code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Contribute to Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and reviews. - Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes. - Provide mentorship to junior developers and lead technical discussions as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Proficiency in Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot. - Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture. - Strong understanding of Hibernate, SQL, and Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and error handling mechanisms. In addition to the above qualifications, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in healthcare, insurance, or SaaS-based domains. - Familiarity with FHIR standards, ABDM, or NHCX is advantageous. - Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.,
