Lead Java Developer

Role Overview: You will lead the design and hands-on development of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. Your role will involve owning modules end-to-end from requirement analysis to production delivery with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical assessments (e.g., VRA, security checklists) required by new BFSI clients. - Design and develop backend components and REST APIs using Spring Boot. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code. - Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries in MySQL. - Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Work with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver stable releases. - Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments. - Mentor junior developers and help improve overall code quality. Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute. - Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Java backend development with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. - Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful services. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. - Hands-on experience with MySQL including schema design and query optimization. - Familiar with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle). - Exposure to Docker, AWS, or similar technologies is an advantage. - Good understanding of software design principles and performance considerations.
