Position Requirement:
Experience in complete infra stack from network, security, storage, hardware, and OS Expertise with Windows Server Expertise with Powershell Expertise with DNS/DHCP Experience in tools such as Google Workspace, GCP, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Experience with setting up and working with backup tools such as NetApp Building DR environments and plans Familiar with managing ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, ServiceDesk Plus Familiar with setting up applications with Azure or Google SSO Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Certifications in VMware, Hyper-V, MSCE, MSCA, or Solutions Architect are good to have Ability to plan, organize and document complex system maintenance activities and toconfigure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures Ability to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong customer service orientation
Role & Responsibilities:
Providing technical support to corporate business units to support their applications Maintain the back-end IT infrastructure (servers, switches, storage, UPS, Hyper-V, etc.) Establish a strong relationship with the business units, Operations team, and manager Perform Windows server upgrades and rebuild Manage and maintain security patches Migrate data from various platforms in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environment Work well with/without SOPs Proactively work through learning the environments of current companies and future companies acquired Be a thought leader and architect new IDF/MDF and scale back/synergize where possible. Comfortable with oncall schedule and critical alerts in a timely manner Work with other teams to coordinate large scale efforts or migration
