Job Description

As a Senior QA Lead (Automation), your role involves leading and mentoring the QA team to ensure high-quality software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading and managing the QA team to deliver high-quality software products. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. - Planning, implementing, and executing automation and manual test strategies for web and API testing. - Driving test automation efforts to improve efficiency and reduce time to market. - Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. - Performing root cause analysis and providing detailed reports on defects and testing progress. - Collaborating with development, product, and project teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability. - Ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements using test management tools like Jira and Xray. - Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers to build technical and domain expertise. To excel in this role, you should have: - 10+ years of experience in Software Testing with at least 5+ years in a QA Lead role. - Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java. - Good understanding and practical knowledge of API testing. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks. - Solid experience with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira and Xray. - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks. Preferred qualifications include exposure to performance testing tools, knowledge of cloud-based testing environments, and experience in mentoring and building high-performing QA teams.
