Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and verification processes. Your role will involve designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test automation scripts. You will collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand the requirements and functionality of our products, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that all software releases meet the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing, documenting, and maintaining test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications. You will perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to identify defects and ensure software performance. Automating test cases using appropriate testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage will be crucial. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and address any issues throughout the software development lifecycle is essential. Analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and working with the development team to ensure timely resolution are part of your duties. Continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to increase effectiveness and efficiency will be expected. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and provide input on software design and architecture from a quality perspective. Skills and tools required for this role include proficiency in software testing methodologies and best practices, experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG, strong programming skills in languages such as Java or JavaScript, familiarity with bug tracking systems like JIRA, knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, experience with mobile testing and/or API testing tools like Postman, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Your primary focus areas will include Java-based Backend Testing, End-to-End Test Automation, Front-end Testing (Web/UI), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Jenkins, Quality Strategy, and Leadership. Education Qualification required for this role is BTECH.,
