Drupal Specialist Hiring Location: Any UST Experience Level: 8+ years Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex Drupal migrations between versions (7 to 8/9/10). Utilize Drupals Migration API and related modules (Migrate Plus, Migrate Tools, Migrate Source CSV/XML) to ensure smooth migration processes. Write custom migration plugins and processes tailored to project needs. Handle complex data transformations, including content, user, and configuration migrations. Manage multilingual content migration and ensure data integrity during the migration. Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure optimal performance and best practices during migrations. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the team. Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards. Provide documentation and guidance to the team on migration best practices and tools. Must-Have Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience with Drupal 7, 8, 9, and 10, with proven expertise in handling complex migrations between versions. Strong proficiency in Drupals Migration API and related modules (Migrate Plus, Migrate Tools, Migrate Source CSV/XML). Advanced PHP programming skills and solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Experience with Drupals Configuration Management system. Proficiency in writing custom migration plugins and processes. Strong knowledge of database management and SQL optimization. Successfully completed multiple Drupal 7 to 8/9/10 migration projects. Experience in content, user, and configuration migrations. Ability to handle complex data transformations during migration. Experience with multilingual content migration. Knowledge of migration best practices and performance optimization. Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Composer and Drush command-line tools. Experience with version control systems (Git). Experience in RESTful API integration. Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, SASS/LESS). Experience with automated testing and debugging tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Experience in agile development methodologies. Experience Range: 8+ years of experience in Drupal development, with a focus on migrations.
