Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to accelerate the growth of Nava AI (https://thenava.ai/) In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-quality leads that strengthen our sales pipeline. As part of the Sales team, you will ensure consistent outreach, precise prospect targeting, and a seamless handoff of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to drive predictable revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead Research & Prospect Identification
- Conduct detailed research to identify potential customers within the target market.
- Proven experience generating leads specifically for the
US market
, with an understanding of US buyer behavior, time zones, and outreach expectations. - Build and maintain accurate prospect lists using platforms such as LinkedIn, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, and other data sources.
- Segment leads based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), geography, industry, and buyer intent.
2. Outbound Outreach & Engagement
- Execute multichannel outreach through email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and social channels.
- Craft personalized outreach messages that drive engagement and interest.
- Maintain structured follow-up cadences to maximize connection and response rates.
3. Lead Qualification
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, challenges, and fit.
- Qualify leads using standardized frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC.
- Log qualification notes and context before handing off to the Sales team.
4. Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Run targeted outbound campaigns using CRM and outreach automation tools.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign strategy.
- Manage inbound leads when required and ensure timely follow-up.
5. CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and updated lead records, activity logs, and communication details in the CRM.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly outreach metrics.
- Ensure data hygiene and compliance with internal processes.
6. Lead Generation Ownership & Process Governance
- Take ownership of end-to-end lead generation activities, ensuring consistent execution and delivery of qualified leads.
- Define, document, and continuously refine a clear Lead Generation process aligned with Sales and Marketing goals.
- Establish and participate in daily scrum/stand-up calls with the Sales team to maintain alignment, track progress, and drive momentum across outreach activities.
- Ensure lead-generation workflows, cadences, and SOPs are followed and optimized based on results and feedback.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and share weekly reports on outreach volume, conversions, meetings booked, and funnel performance.
- Analyze campaign results and suggest improvements for better lead quality and conversions.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align on ICP, messaging, and target accounts.
- Provide insights from prospect conversations to support product, marketing, and GTM improvements.
- Participate in alignment meetings, feedback discussions, and planning sessions.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices for lead generation.
- Experiment with new strategies, tools, and outreach methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Seek feedback regularly to improve outreach quality and conversion rates.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in lead generation
- Prior experience in a SaaS product or AI-driven platform environment.
- Exposure to inbound lead handling and nurturing processes.
- Familiarity with building SOPs, playbooks, and lead-generation processes.
- Understanding of marketing alignment, GTM inputs, and campaign optimization.
- Comfort experimenting with new outreach tactics, tools, and technology trends.
- Ability to provide feedback from prospect interactions to influence product/marketing improvements.
- Knowledge of analytics dashboards or outreach metrics tools.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or any related discipline.
- A postgraduate degree or certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is an added advantage.
