Looking for a Senior Footwear Designer who loves shoes, lives in mood boards, and gets a little too excited about the difference between mauve and dusty rose. Someone who can spot a legacy silhouette from a distance. Part futurist, part sneakerhead. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to make designs that sell out. This role isn’t for someone who just wants to tweak laces on legacy silhouettes. This is for someone who can build something original.

Roles & Responsibilities

Trends Research: Research what’s next in the world of materials, colours, finishes, and silhouettes then translate that into tangible mood boards and designs that the product team can act on.

Design Execution: Create footwear sketches (CADs), colour-ups, and seasonal presentation decks.

Cross-function: Provide clear and timely communication with factories, vendors, and product development teams from concept to manufacturing.

Guarding Design: Ensure the soul of your design stays intact all the way from sketch to shelf, without losing functionality or feasibility.

Materials & Colour: Curate, manage, and maintain seasonal material swatches, colour standards, and presentation boards.

Development: Make sure the product not only meets internal standards (fit, comfort, quality) but also walks the talk, from wear-testing to the market.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in footwear or fashion design, with a standout portfolio.

Education from a top design school helps, but real-world wins matter more.

Command over Adobe Creative Suite, 3D design tools or getting the renders through AI with well-drafted prompts.

Deep knowledge of materials, lasts, construction.

Bonus points if you’ve worked on sustainable materials, collabs and have good knowledge of the footwear-factory ecosystem.

You understand that colour isn’t just a shade, it’s psychology, emotion, and sometimes the entire sell-through strategy.
