Lead - Environment Management Activities will be responsible for identifying improvement potential in existing EMS and suggest best technological solution for environmental norms of existing and proposed manufacturing facilities for the assigned site Strategic Responsibilities Operational Responsibilities Coordinate with plants for effective management of effluent and hazardous waste Handling SPCB online portal Working at source for reduction of effluent, water consumption and hazardous waste generation Environment monitoring through third party Coordination for Environment audit Consent application Assist team members for fulfilment of Operational and legal requirements in the plant Ensure optimum performance and output from the operations of ETP Operation and maintenance of ETP Working in close coordination with other team members towards best results from ETP Supervise the jobs related all equipment and monitor their performance for optimum and safe operations Communication with superiors and carry out field actions accordingly Trouble shooting and increasing the performance of Waste treatment equipment Implementation of management systems related to HSE in the function Compliance to procedures and Work Instructions Implement the cost saving initiatives in the areas of ETP Financial Responsibilities People Responsibilities Identify the skill gaps and arrange required trainings for his team and site EHS team. Recognize & reward excellent performers as per company policy Actively drive, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team, the performance management process of the team Inspire & motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to PI s values, vision & mission and active participation in various team engagement activities Education Qualification B.E/B.Tech in Environment/Chemical or M.Sc. in Chemistry/Environment Work Experience 8-12 years in Environment Management Industry to be Hired from Agro-Pharma-Fine-Chemicals Environment consultancy Functional Competencies Deep domain knowledge in Environment Management System Experience in operation and maintenance of ETP, Incinerator, MEE, RO, etc. Technical knowledge of effluent and waste treatment methods and its disposal A knack for keeping abreast with new developments by reading journals /literature Technical Knowledge
