Lead Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for collaborating with third parties on system build and integration testing. Additionally, you will create technical specifications, test plans, and documentation. It will be your duty to develop a framework and process to manage business risk in chartering operations. Your role will involve developing strategic plans and roadmaps based on business drivers, encouraging innovation and efficiency improvements, and establishing a budget for the business unit. You will also initiate and lead the design and development of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) and its related equipment, monitor the life cycle of the port equipment, oversee the development of training roadmaps for the engineering team, and perform quality control checks. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with third parties on system build and integration testing - Create technical specifications, test plans, and documentation - Develop a framework and process to manage business risk in chartering operations - Develop strategic plans and roadmaps based on business drivers - Encourage innovation and efficiency improvements to ensure processes are productive - Establish budget for the business unit, financial statements, and performance - Initiate and lead the design and development of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) and its related equipment which includes concept development, prototype testing, and engineering design - Monitor the life cycle of the port equipment to introduce end-of-life measures - Oversee the development of training roadmaps for the engineering team - Perform quality control checks Qualifications: - Strong technical skills in software development, system design, and engineering practices - Proficiency in project management, leadership, and team collaboration - Problem-solving abilities and experience in addressing complex technical challenges - Knowledge of coding languages, frameworks, and software lifecycle management - Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,
