Lead Engineer, Instrumentation & Controls

Role Overview: Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking a Lead Engineer, Instrumentation & Controls to execute projects and support bids in Navi Mumbai, India. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for handling engineering design review and analysis assignments for major projects in the oil & gas sector, showcasing your competence and expertise in conventional knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and execute multiple projects, both local and international, while preparing instrumentation and automation engineering documents and drawings as required by the Discipline Manager. - Support the team in process industry-based project design work to ensure smooth execution. - Assist engineers, Design Manager, and Discipline Manager in the engineering design of the project. - Prepare and finalize the engineering document deliverable register (EDDR) in coordination with all relevant departments/disciplines based on Client/Contract requirements. - Utilize tools such as MS-Office, Smart plant tools (SPI), AUTOCAD, Micro-station, and calculation tools like Instrucalc and flowel to prepare instrument & automation related design deliverables. - Review design outputs including computations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance and approval from Clients. - Coordinate inter-discipline activities, submission of design documents, and procedures to the Client, resolving unclear issues through technical queries. - Participate in HAZOP, SIL Study, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and pre-commissioning activities. - Ensure compliance with Laws, Statutory Regulations, Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Requirements for the project. - Coordinate with procurement department to obtain necessary procurement inputs from vendors for design. - Facilitate the preparation of as-built documentation. Qualification Required: - Engineering Graduate (BSc. or MSc.) - Minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering experience in Instrumentation and Automation within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries. - Minimum 8 years in a Senior Role. - Telecommunication knowledge would be an added advantage. - Experience in FEED and EPC projects for ADNOC Group of Companies. - Working experience with reputed Engineering Consultants is preferred. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Team player with a problem-solving attitude and fluency in English. - Alignment with company values of learning minds, diversity, equality, transparency, and honesty.
