Lead Electrical

You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as HT yard, Transformer (11KV/0.433KV), HT/LT working with DG set, and following a maintenance schedule. Additionally, you will conduct quarterly thermography of MCC & PCC panel to prevent breakdowns due to overheating. Your role will also involve testing and commissioning protective relays for transformers and breakers, as well as conducting an arc flash study of the electrical network and coordinating relay operations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform harmonics reduction using active harmonics filter and work with cathodic protection system - Prepare root cause analysis of critical equipment breakdown and work on maintaining and improving plant equipment performance to enhance MTBF and reduce MTTR - Handle licensing work with MSEDCL, coordinate electrical inspector inspections, and submit DG duty documents - Maintain and study the adequacy of lighting arrestor - Switch APFC panel with thyristors to maintain power factor up to 0.999 and conduct earth pit testing and maintenance - Improve earthing system and check earthing continuity of electrical and process equipment - Work with utility equipment such as 150 TR Chiller, 300 CFM Air compressor, Nitrogen plant, Boiler, etc. - Operate AC VFD drive and UPS system, maintain hoist, EOT crane, and monorail hoist - Manage fire hydrant and fire alarm systems, monitor daily temperatures of critical electrical equipment, and check plant area illumination - Conduct pre-monsoon activities and ensure all rotating equipment has 360 guarding protection - Test RCCB of all LDB, PDB, and SPNDB, and inspect plant emergency lighting Qualifications: - Hold an electrical supervisor license - Experience in electrical maintenance and operation - Knowledge of testing and commissioning protective relays - Familiarity with maintenance of various electrical equipment and systems,
