Lead - Electrical Infra Design

Role & responsibilities

1. Act as the ultimate technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all electrical infrastructure design decisions. Develop and implement strategic electrical infrastructure design plans aligned with company objectives and project requirements.

2. Lead the conceptualization, detailed design, and engineering of all electrical systems for various land parcels ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, BIS, CEA ) , and in close coordination with local DISCOM like MSEDCL, BEST Undertaking, Adani Electricity.

3. Act as the ultimate technical authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all electrical infrastructure design decisions.

4. Oversee and review all electrical design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.

5. Drive the adoption of new technologies, sustainable design practices, and energy-efficient solutions in electrical infrastructure.

6. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering for electrical systems to ensure designs optimize performance, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

7. Collaborate closely with architects, civil, mechanical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines, PMC team to ensure integrated and coordinated designs, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for electrical design activities.

8. Represent the company in discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on electrical design matters

9. Ensure all electrical designs comply with local statutory regulations, codes, and permitting requirements in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

10 Lead the design and integration of Smart City and SCADA systems within electrical distribution networks, ensuring robust, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure. deployment of SCADA for real-time system monitoring, fault diagnostics, and energy efficiency across urban grids.

11 Drive initiatives in smart metering, renewable energy integration, EV charging infrastructure and grid modernization aligned with smart city frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical compliance, cybersecurity, and seamless interoperability of electrical systems.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 15+ years of work experience.

2. Master's degree in Business Administration or Project Management with more than 10 years of independently leading function in mid / large scale organization in relevant sector.

3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

4. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies

5. Expertise in project portfolio management and resource allocation

6. Proficiency in risk management, quality assurance, and compliance standards

7. Experience with project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent

8. In-depth understanding of construction and real estate development processes

9. Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices
