Lead Data Engineer

As a seasoned Lead Data Engineer with over 7+ years of experience, primarily focused on Python and writing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL, your main role will involve developing and managing complex data solutions. You will be expected to work both as an individual contributor and as the lead of a small team, delivering end-to-end data solutions. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues efficiently, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of data solutions, workflows, and processes. Proactive communication with customers and team members to provide guidance aligned with both short-term and long-term customer needs will also be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a small team of 2-3 data engineers - Work on at least 3 to 4 end-to-end data engineering projects - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all duties Qualifications Required: - Deep expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL - Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation - Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions - Knowledge of building semantic data layers between applications and backend databases - Experience in integrating data into Salesforce and understanding its data architecture - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills - Ability to build and test data processes integrating with external applications using REST API and SOAP calls - Knowledge of real-time data processing and integration techniques - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively Please note the budget for this position is 23LPA, and the location is Kochi/TVM/Remote.
