Lead Cybersecurity Engineer Vulnerability Management

Role Overview: As a Vulnerability Management Specialist, your main responsibility will be to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across IT systems. You will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or STEM, or have at least 6 years of experience in vulnerability management. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of CVE, CVSS, CWE, CPE, NVD, EPSS, and CESS. Additionally, you should be proficient in technical documentation, project management, and collaborating with global teams. It is essential that you are willing to work off-hours or weekends during security incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular assessments using tools such as Tenable and ServiceNow VR - Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk assessment and lead remediation plans with IT/app teams - Track and report vulnerability trends, status, and progress - Provide expertise on exploit mitigation to support incident response Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or STEM, or a minimum of 6 years of experience in vulnerability management - Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across IT systems - Strong understanding of CVE, CVSS, CWE, CPE, NVD, EPSS, and CESS - Skilled in technical documentation, project management, and global team collaboration - Willingness to work off-hours/weekends during security incidents Additional Company Details: The work environment for this role is mostly sedentary, involving sitting and typing, with occasional movement or lifting up to 20 lbs. You can expect regular meetings, both in-person and virtual. There may be additional duties outside the core scope of the role, with training provided if needed.,
