Job Description

Role: Lead Communication Designation: Manager/Sr. Manager Objective: To develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies and monitor their success. Represent organization in communicating with all channels of media along with managing communication with our partners and internal communication within the organization as well. Major Deliverables: Lead role: It is an integrated communications role. Accountable for end to end (strategizing communications, planning, setting up guidelines, execution) Accountable for all communication channels: Website, Social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Insta) , Publications/Articles, Reports etc Define key performance indicators for each communications channel which will indicate a campaigns level of success Plan and execute strategic communications campaigns that will help further organizational goals Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organizations brand, including white papers, website, and more Write and deliver internal newsletter on a monthly basis Represent the organization at events and press conferences Reach out to influencers, media and beyond in order to arrange story placement on a national and global level Reporting to: Principal Lead Location: Mumbai Essential Attributes: Must be action oriented and responsive. Establish a rigor; define and follow a plan will be important Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines Must be able to think analytically and strategically Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines Familiarity or experience working with CRM software is an asset Relevant Experience in Social sector or corporate communications for a social cause will help Superior written and verbal communications skills Desired Attributes: Proven success in designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and Campaigns Qualifications: Post Graduate in Mass Communications Desired Experience (in years): 8+ years prior experience working in a marketing or communications role
