Job Description

Support end-users with issues pertaining to the billing system and related applications including, but not limited to, Zuora, Billing Platform, Avalara, Braintree, and Netsuite. Support end-users with technical and functional billing related questions. Perform data analysis on billing and other order-to-cash operations. Create and manage custom reports within the billing system. Log bug tickets for issues identified within the billing system. Perform various setups and configuration changes within the billing system. Elicit requirements from end-users and finance leaders and translate those requirements into user stories and technical specifications. Build comprehensive business requirements documents, including documentation of end-to-end business process flows and use cases. Create technical/functional specifications, offer solution designs, create test plans, perform system testing, coordinate UAT and assist with implementations related to all billing systems. Review end-to-end test plans created by the quality assurance team to ensure all requirements and use cases are covered. Review the results of the end-to-end tests performed by the quality assurance team to ensure they meet the expected results. This role requires 8+ years supporting financial systems (Billing/Order to Cash) Strong Experience working with SaaS billing tools, ideally Zuora and/or Billing Platform Experience with consumption/usage based billing Experience working with ERP platforms like Netsuite, Oracle, or SAP Experience with credit card payment processing and payment gateways such as Braintree and/or Paystand Experience with tax management platforms such as Avalara, Vertex, or TR OneSource Experience eliciting requirements and translating business requirements into technical requirements Good communication skills; both verbal and written for documenting business processes, including leading meetings and presentations Recognizes the importance of continuous improvement and finding opportunities to streamline/optimize current practices in order to shorten delivery schedules, improve quality, and increase efficiency Bonus points if you have Ability to read and write SQL queries Experience with program/portfolio management toolsets (JIRA/Confluence
