Lead Business Analyst

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst Lead at Nasdaq Client Clearing Engineering in Bengaluru, you will be joining the newly started NRTC team, focusing on the Nasdaq Real Time Clearing product. Your role will involve leading requirements gathering and management across the system development lifecycle, working closely with internal teams in Bangalore and other countries. Your responsibilities will include providing mentorship to clients, articulating requirements into user stories, supporting testing, contributing to project delivery, and developing training programs and tools. Your collaborative working style, analytical skills, and experience in the Capital Market/Trading domain will be critical for your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Elicit, capture, and manage requirements throughout the system development lifecycle - Provide mentorship to clients in the preparation of requirement documents - Articulate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team - Support testing to ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements - Work closely with other teams to ensure successful project delivery and make strategic decisions - Contribute to the development of training programs, tools, and techniques - Produce detailed functional specifications for the system implementation team - Identify industry changes and provide feedback for product development initiatives - Provide input into project schedule, risks, scope of work, and budget Qualifications Required: - 16 or more years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in a Business Analyst role - Extensive experience in the Capital Market/Trading domain, including securities trading, clearing & settlement, market surveillance, risk management, compliance & reporting, custody, etc. - Experience in conducting requirements elicitation workshops, business analysis, and requirements management - Strong customer-facing/engagement skills and the ability to manage client and internal collaborator expectations - Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and tools - Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant subject area, or equivalent work experience - Professional certifications like CFA, FRM or Business Analyst certifications like ECBA, CBAP, CCBA are a plus Additional Details: Nasdaq is a leading global provider of trading, clearing, exchange technology, listing, information, and public company services.
