Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading EDI implementation. Develops reports and logs using standard templates to report the status of the implementation. Attends meetings with internal and external clients to discuss and document existing and future business needs.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans outlining expected tasks and activities. Convey project status information to business users and EDI manager.
  • Responsible for gathering requirements and convert requirements to mapping
Specification.
  • Participating in the review of detailed technical designs
  • On boarding EDI partners. Responsible for necessary Partner setup with 100% accuracy
  • Creating and executing test cases to ensure requirements have been satisfied. QA testing and Production End-to-End testing, set up/configure test environments for QA and Prod, Regression testing to confirm results with Unit testing
  • Validating correctness and accuracy of valid compliant healthcare industry standard EDI formats
  • Responding to inquiries and educates clients on process
  • Preparing clients for production and assists with upgrades/changes to communication protocol, format or software
  • reviewing production support tickets, assist with 2nd level support of production issues
  • Responsible to ensure all inbound data gets loaded to Repricing system within agreed upon SLA. Continuously works on improving the inbound process . Responsible for Acknowledgement tracking and ensuring all the outbound files are accounted.
  • Responsible for file transmission and regression testing.
  • Backup for File fixes

Required Skills

  • Sound knowledge of EDI transactions (837P,837I, 999)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity of HIPAA Implementation Guides.
  • Full understanding of privacy rules and HIPAA compliancy
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self motivated and directed.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience in working with clients for problem resolution
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio, Access
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Open to work in Night Shift
