Technical Analyst
with strong expertise in
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
and additional proficiency in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Key Responsibilities
Business & Technical Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Translate business needs into cloud infrastructure requirements and workflows.
- Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies for cloud adoption and migration.
- Document technical specifications, architectural decisions, and solution blueprints.
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS Priority)
- Design, analyze, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Work with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, and VPC.
- Ensure cost optimization, scalability, and high availability of AWS infrastructure.
- Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements for system reliability.
- Support cloud-native application design, deployment, and maintenance.
GCP and Azure (Good-to-Have)
- Assist in projects involving Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services including VMs, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and AKS is a plus.
System Integration & Automation
- Analyze and recommend integrations between cloud and on-premises systems.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Support API integrations, data flows, and service-to-service communication across platforms.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure AWS architectures adhere to security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Implement IAM policies, encryption, monitoring, and logging mechanisms.
- Conduct security risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
- Support teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
- Provide insights to management on cloud infrastructure costs, risks, and optimizations.
- Train junior analysts or stakeholders in understanding AWS/GCP services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch).
- Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, DynamoDB, BigQuery).
- Experience in network analysis, VPC design, and security hardening.

Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

- Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect (good-to-have).
- ITIL or Business Analysis certifications (bonus).
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
Professional Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in a technical analyst, cloud engineer, or solution analyst role.
- Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure analysis, optimization, and migration.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Exposure to DevOps, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
