Law/Legal Internship in Mumbai

Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Carry out legal research and analysis, thereby identifying important issues and apprising the organization of emerging legal trends from the court's decision.
• Implement all the associated documentation work for the preparation of the title certificate for the property/project.
• Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts, and agreements and monitor legal obligations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in policy identification, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance is met with so that risk is minimized and managed.
• Seek guidance from senior legal consultant before commencing/initiating any work received from internal departments of the organization.
• Appear in courts to initiate and pursue legal proceedings in civil/criminal cases both "for and against" the organization.
• Liaise with and assist external counsel to pursue civil/criminal matters of the organization.
• Maintain a database of the status of all court matters involving the organization.
