Lathe Operator and Fitter

You will be responsible for setting up, tending, and operating a Lathe machine to turn, bore, thread, form, or face metal materials. You will work from drawings and written instructions to create parts for customer-specific equipment with precision and close tolerances. Additionally, you will fabricate and/or modify parts using various industrial equipment and tooling. It will be your duty to adjust both conventional and automatic controls, troubleshoot equipment, and perform preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate a Lathe machine effectively - Work with drawings and instructions to create precise parts - Fabricate and modify parts using industrial equipment - Adjust both conventional and automatic controls - Troubleshoot equipment related issues - Perform preventative maintenance tasks Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in operating a Lathe machine - Ability to work with precision and close tolerances - Knowledge of industrial equipment and tooling - Troubleshooting skills - Basic understanding of preventative maintenance techniques Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and paid sick time.
