Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Machine Turner to operate and maintain lathe machines for precision machining of metal components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reading technical drawings, setting up machines, and producing high-quality turned parts as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional and/or VMC lathe machines to produce precision metal parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Set up tools, chucks, and fixtures on the lathe machine as per job requirements.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, grooving, and drilling operations.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Ensure all parts are machined within tolerance and quality standards.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform minor maintenance or adjustments as required.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in the workshop.
• Coordinate with supervisors and production team to meet daily targets.

Requirements:

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Turner / Machinist or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in lathe machine operation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in manual and/or VMC lathe operation.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with measurement instruments and quality checks.

Salary Range:

₹20000 to 25000 per month (based on experience and skill level)

Work Timings:

8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
