Lathe Machine operator (Turner)

As a Lathe Machine Operator (Turner) with 4 to 5 years of experience, your main role will involve operating lathes to create cylindrical shapes, cut threads, and perform other turning operations. You will be responsible for setting up machines by preparing lathes and other turning machines for specific tasks, including selecting appropriate cutting tools and setting machine parameters. Your ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings will be crucial in understanding and following engineering drawings to ensure accurate part dimensions and specifications. Quality control is a key responsibility where you will be measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Additionally, you will be performing routine maintenance on lathes and other turning equipment, as well as identifying and resolving issues that arise during the turning process.
