Lathe Machine Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations. Select and install appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine settings for optimal performance. Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on lathe machines to maintain efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Proven experience operating lathe machines in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience with CNC lathe machines and programming is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
