Job Title: Turner / Lathe Machine Operator office location: Kukatpally work Location: Jeedimetla, Hyderabad Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Production Supervisor / Workshop Manager Salary: 15k Education Qualification: ITI in Turner / Mechanical/ Fitter Experience: 1-3 years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Turner (Lathe Machine Operator) to operate lathe machines for precision metal component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical drawings, machining tolerances, and hands-on experience with turning operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate lathe machines to produce precision metal parts based on technical drawings and specifications. Set up tools and workpieces on the lathe machines. Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, and boring operations. Measure and inspect machined components using callipers, micrometres, and other precision measuring instruments. Ensure production quality and meet tight tolerances. Perform routine maintenance of machines and keep work area clean. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. · Collaborate with supervisors and quality control teams to resolve machining issues. Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Turner/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in operating lathe machines (manual). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with precision measuring tools. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with turning machines (if applicable). Knowledge of different materials like steel, aluminium, brass, etc. Basic understanding of programming.
