Laser machine operator (Fresher)

Job Description: As a Laser Machine Operator, your main responsibility will be setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting and engraving machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your role demands attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong focus on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and calibrate laser cutting/engraving machines based on work orders and blueprints. - Load and unload materials like metal, plastic, wood, or glass into the machine. - Monitor machine operation to ensure correct cutting speed, power, and accuracy. - Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards and customer specifications. - Identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies in the final product. - Maintain accurate records of production output and quality issues. - Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses and replacing worn parts. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime. - Report major malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. - Follow all company safety policies and procedures. - Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. - Maintain production logs and machine maintenance records. - Document any machine issues and corrective actions taken. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines preferred. - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with machine programming. - Strong attention to detail and quality focus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. - Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and heat.
