This is a hands-on development role where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, build, and deliver scalable and efficient systems. A strong command of Laravel , MySQL , and modern web development tools is essential. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the full software development lifecycle , including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Design, estimate, and develop new features and functionalities for web applications. Architect scalable and reusable systems , both for new applications and enhancements of existing ones. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to defined standards. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams , attending sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Optimize database performance , write complex SQL queries, and work on schema designs. Debug and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner. Ensure application scalability, performance, and security at all levels. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces using HTML5, Bootstrap, and jQuery. Utilize tools like JIRA , Git , Bitbucket , and Microsoft Teams for development and collaboration. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience with PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. 2+ years of practical experience in Laravel framework . In-depth knowledge of MySQL , with the ability to design schemas and write optimized queries. Proficient in Bootstrap , HTML5 , CSS3 , and jQuery . Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Good understanding of version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket. Experience using project management and collaboration tools like JIRA , Teams , etc. Hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues. Experience working across different phases of SDLC . Exposure to enterprise-level systems and ability to understand complex business logic. Desirable Skills (Nice to Have): Experience working in product-based companies . Exposure to ReactJS or willingness to learn. Experience or familiarity with Payroll or Finance domain applications. Working knowledge of Linux environment (basic command-line, server operations). Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integratio Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
