Job Description

Qualification Required:

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
  • DME Approval Mandatory
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and clinical pathology.
  • Collect and process samples such as blood, urine, sputum, stool, and swabs using standard protocols.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and safe handling of patient samples.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment (biochemistry analyzer, hematology analyzer, centrifuge, microscope, etc.).
  • Prepare reagents, stains, and sample slides.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and test results in the LIS (Laboratory Information System).
  • Follow NABL, DME, and laboratory quality control standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and confidentiality of patient data.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and maintaining stock of consumables and reagents.
  • Support quality assurance activities, internal audits, and documentation.
