Job Description

Role & responsibilities: This position works closely with Industrial Designers, R&D Engineers, and/or teams in the making of prototypes/components using 3D printer and general mechanical workshop machines. Execution of prototype building using Mechanical workshop equipment such as 3D Printers, CNC milling, lathe and other hand tools as per the laid down SOP/WI, Protocols, Having good knowledge of EHS documentation. Planning of jobs in case of multiple projects running simultaneously. Assisting Designers/Engineers in prototype finishing activities. Good understanding of EHS documentation Understanding of the SOP/WI. Knowledge of 3d Printers & CNC will be an added advantage Good communication skills Operate and maintain equipment as per the requirements. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Maintain equipments calibration (both internal / external) Preparing the equipments work instructions / SOPs. Preparing the documentation required for EHS Audits. Participate in root cause investigation exercise. Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks. Key Responsibilities Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Working knowledge of EHS Documentation, CAD/CAM software, CNC Programming, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT). Skill Set: Must have - EHS Documentation, prototyping activities preferably at Medical device/Automobile sector Key words & Tools: Prototype building using Mechanical workshop3D Printers, CNC milling, lathe and other hand tools as per the laid down SOP/WI, Protocols.
