As a Relationship Manager in the Corporate and Investment Banking division, your primary responsibility is to acquire and develop a well-diversified portfolio within the IBG 4 segment. This portfolio should generate revenue from various sources such as assets, trade, cash, treasury, and fees while maintaining an acceptable level of risk for the bank. Your role involves adhering to lending guidelines set by the bank to achieve these objectives effectively. Key responsibilities include sourcing new asset relationships within the IBG 4 segment, catering to companies with turnovers ranging from INR 25 crores to 600 crores in alignment with the bank's lending policy. You are expected to focus on generating Net Interest Income and fees across the portfolio, along with ensuring regular revenue streams through cross-selling of trade, liabilities, cash, treasury, and other products. Additionally, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the profitability of the business and monitoring the portfolio to maintain delinquencies at a minimum are crucial aspects of your role. Moreover, you are required to implement and execute the IBG 4 business strategy to increase market share, achieve targets, and mitigate concentration risk. Building the DBS brand value, expanding the network through marketing activities, collaborations, and events, and complying with the bank's processes and policies during audits are also essential parts of your duties. In terms of job duties, you will be responsible for sourcing new asset relationships, sanctioning and disbursing loans, cross-selling various products, achieving budgeted revenues, conducting due diligence on new assets, and maintaining strict adherence to KYC/AML requirements. Providing MIS reports, completing learning programs assigned by DBS, and staying connected with local business stakeholders are integral components of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have 3-7 years of overall sales experience, with a focus on SME/Business Banking Lending. A proven track record in asset business within the SME/Business Banking segment, knowledge of competitors and the market landscape, and familiarity with customer preferences in the SME segment are preferred qualifications. Excellent communication, listening, sales, and negotiation skills are essential core competencies required for this position, along with a solid understanding of working capital finance.
