Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune, Maharashtra for a Senior GenAI Developer. The Senior GenAI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, creating algorithms, and testing solutions to ensure efficiency. Additionally, the role involves ongoing maintenance and upgrades to existing AI systems, as well as staying up to date with the latest AI trends and technologies. ​ What You'll Be Building (Key Responsibilities) ​Design & Development: Architect and develop robust, scalable backend systems and APIs. ​Data Mastery: Work with and optimize data infrastructure, primarily using PostgreSQL (familiarity with DuckDB is a plus). ​AI Integration: Build and fine-tune data pipelines that underpin our analytics, forecasting, and core AI-driven tools. ​LLM Features: Integrate and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to power innovative product features. ​Engineering Velocity: Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development cycles and set new benchmarks for efficiency. ​System Ownership: Contribute significantly to system architecture decisions, ensuring top-tier scalability, reliability, and performance. ​Startup Collaboration: Thrive in a dynamic startup environment where speed, adaptability, and creativity are paramount. ​ Must-Have Requirements ​Proven experience as a Software Engineer (experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly preferred). ​Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL. ​Hands-on experience with LLMs (integration, fine-tuning, or advanced prompt engineering). ​Solid understanding of system architecture and designing scalable applications. ​Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools for rapid development. ​Comfortable and effective working in a fast-moving, ownership-driven startup environment. ​Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership mindset. ​ Nice to Have ​Experience with complex data-intensive applications (ETL, analytics, forecasting). ​Prior exposure to the restaurant, retail, or financial technology (FinTech) sectors. ​Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern cloud platforms.
