Company Description Kundan Agri AI, a subsidiary of Kundan Pipes, leverages advanced agri-technology and artificial intelligence to revolutionize Indian agriculture through precision irrigation, IoT sensors, digital-twin farm models, and drone-based crop intelligence. Our integrated platform combines real-time field data with predictive analytics, helping farmers optimize water usage, monitor crop health, and increase profitability. With a legacy spanning over 20 years in irrigation systems through Kundan Pipes, Serving a wide range of stakeholders, we bring together hardware expertise and AI-driven innovations to create a comprehensive ecosystem for modern farming. Role Overview Kundan Agri AI is building the future of autonomous irrigation. We are moving from concept to custom hardware deployment. We are looking for a hands-on LOT Lead who can design, prototype, and deploy the hardware infrastructure that controls motors, reads soil sensors, and automates valves. You will bridge the gap between the physical farm and our Digital Twin Background: Electronics + embedded systems (B.E / M.E / ECE) Salary: 35K-40K per/Month Key Responsibilities Hardware Selection & Architecture: Select and source appropriate microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32), soil sensors (NPK, Moisture, EC), and actuation systems (solenoids, motor starters) to replace previous white-label solutions. PCB & Circuit Design: Design custom PCBs or integrate industrial-grade development boards to create a rugged controller capable of surviving harsh agricultural environments (IP65/IP67 standards). Firmware Development: Write efficient C/C++ firmware to handle sensor data acquisition, valve scheduling, and secure communication (MQTT/HTTPs) with the Kundan Agri AI cloud. Motor & Valve Integration: 1. Interface with 3-phase pump starters and VFDs using relays or contactors. 2. Control motorized ball valves or solenoid valves for zonal irrigation. Connectivity: Implement robust communication protocols (LoRaWAN, GSM/4G, WiFi) to ensure connectivity in remote fields. Technical Requirements · Experience: 3–5+ years in Embedded Systems, LOT, or Robotics. · Microcontrollers: Deep expertise in ESP32, STM32, or Arduino environments. · Protocols: Mastery of Modbus RS485 (crucial for industrial soil sensors), UART, I2C, and SPI. · Cloud Communication: Experience with MQTT, AWS LOT Core, or similar cloud LOT bridges. · Electronics: Strong understanding of relays, ADCs, power management (solar/battery), and protecting circuits from voltage spikes (common in farm pumps). Fabrication: Ability to solder, design basic enclosures, and troubleshoot hardware in the field.
