Job Description

Korean Interpreter

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
real-time interpretation
and
document translation
between Korean and English (and Tamil, if applicable) during meetings, site visits, and official communications.
Ensure smooth communication between
Korean management
and
local project teams
throughout plant construction and setup.
Assist in
HR and Administrative functions
, including attendance management, staff coordination, and document handling.
Support
Accounting or Quality departments
with reporting and translation of technical or process-related documents.
Coordinate with
vendors, contractors, and internal teams
to facilitate effective operations during project execution.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translations and administrative activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Fluent in Korean and English
(spoken and written); Tamil knowledge is an advantage.
Minimum
2 years of relevant experience
as a translator/interpreter in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with
HR, Administrative, Accounting, or Quality processes
.
Strong
organizational
,
communication
, and
multitasking
abilities.
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, multicultural
environment.
